Our Members have helped develop our Vision and Values, and because of this, share our passion for realising them.

Housing Plus explains why we work together – to make a positive impact, and to become greater than the sum of our parts. Greater choice and efficiency, greater career opportunities and pride for staff, and greater impact, freedom and control for our members.

It also reflects our ambition to work with a broader range of partners, going beyond housing to make a positive impact on all aspects of our customers’ lives and the communities they live in.

South Staffordshire Housing Association (SSHA) is a community-based, charitable housing association serving South Staffordshire, Shropshire and the Midlands.

As a proud member of Housing Plus, SSHA’s main aim is to contribute to the realisation of the Group’s Vision by delighting tenants and our other customers, providing the most efficient service possible, and delivering top quartile performance we will increase its role as a catalyst for enriching lives.

SSHA continues to grow from strength-to-strength, and currently manages more than 5,000 homes, and invests £5million each year on improving the standard of its tenants’ homes.

Property Care

Property Care provides responsive repairs, planned works, mobile caretaking, and disabled adaptations services for a growing number of social landlords across the Midlands. 

Priding itself on its commitment to quality, innovation, and customer care, Property Care has built a reputation for excellence, which is reflected by its sector-leading overall satisfaction rating of 97%.

As well as customer care, Property Care also has a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility. The business has a strong policy of working with local suppliers and recruiting staff and apprentices from the areas in which it works to help improve local economies and build local expertise. Uniquely, Property Care also works with partner organisations to help provide access to a broader range of services. Staff are trained to help signpost and refer customers with specific needs towards partner organisations, which aims to improve customers' overall quality of life.

Property Care is rapidly growing its client base, and currently works with organisations including Orbit Care and Repair, Midland Heart, Busbury Hill TMO, and Housing Plus member SSHA.
