Housing Plus Recognised At Midlands Excellence Awards Ceremony

Housing Plus is celebrating after being reaccredited as an Investor In Excellence at the prestigious Midlands Excellence Awards.

In front of more than 1,150 business leaders, the Midlands-based organisation, which provides quality affordable housing across South Staffordshire, Cannock, Stafford and Shropshire, was recognised for achieving the Investors in Excellence (IiE) Standard for a second time.

Fast becoming a universal mark of excellence recognised by business and public sector leaders alike, the IiE Standard helps businesses to develop a continuous improvement culture and generate maximum returns. Any organisation can achieve it – they simply need to demonstrate a high standard of all-round performance across a range of key business areas including leadership, people and customer results.
Speaking after the gala ceremony, Investors in Excellence chief executive, Ian Nield, said: “Obtaining the Investors in Excellence Standard is a fantastic achievement for any organisation and I congratulate Housing Plus wholeheartedly on securing it for a second time.

“Every organisation we’ve recognised has undergone rigorous independent assessment and consistently demonstrated a genuine passion for excellence and performance improvement. An example to all of us, Housing Plus has earned its place in the Investors in Excellence hall of fame.”

Speaking of the re-accreditation, Phil Ingle, finance director at Housing Plus, commented: “We are delighted to have secured this reaccreditation from IiE in recognition of our continued improvement and customer dialogue. Since receiving the initial accreditation two years ago, we have worked hard to consistently provide excellent services to all of our customers in the most cost-effective and efficient way.”
