Housing Plus appoints new Head of Finance

Leading West Midlands housing organisation, Housing Plus has announced the appointment of Artur Dzido as Head of Finance.

Artur brings considerable financial and accountancy expertise to the business, having previously held senior positions within the finance teams of another housing association and large commercial businesses.

Artur will be responsible for the overall leadership of Housing Plus’ finance department and the finance staff, managing a team of 11 people. Artur’s role will include the management and maintenance of Housing Plus’ financial reporting system, to ensure the financial health of the business. He will also prepare the financial statutory accounts and work with his team to manage the budget planning process and control expenditures.

Previous to joining Housing Plus, Artur was employed by Parkway Green Housing Trust in Manchester as Business Finance Manager, where he was responsible for finance, business plans and budgets.

Artur has a MSc in Business Management from the International Business School in Poland, as well as a professional accountancy qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He will report directly to Housing Plus’ Finance Director, Philip Ingle.

Speaking of the senior appointment, Phil Ingle finance director of Housing Plus commented: “I would like to officially welcome Artur to Housing Plus. With an exceptionally strong track record, Artur brings a wealth of relevant financial experience to our business so he is sure to play a significant role the future successes of the Housing Plus finance team.”

On joining Housing Plus as Head of Finance, Artur added: “I am delighted to have joined Housing Plus and I am particularly looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities that my new role has to offer. The dedication, commitment, passion and diligent approach to customer focus that I have already seen by my colleagues in the finance department should certainly stand us in good stead for the future.”
